Circa 1974 Gordie Howe Game Used Stick
This Sher-Wood stick is all-original with white and black tape on the butt end and white tape on the blade. A must-have for any Gordie Howe fan, "9 HOWE" is clearly stamped on the stick near the butt end on the outside of the shaft. This stick is signed and personalized on the blade in 7/10 blue Sharpie, reading "To Jim, Best always, Gordie Howe." Included in this auction is a copy of the March 11, 1974 issue of Sports Illustrated. Featuring Gordie on the cover holding a similar stick, the headline reads "Amazing Gordie Howe No. 1 at 45." The stick shows nice use and is in solid condition without any visible splinters or cracks.
