Circa 1977-78 Robert Picard Game Worn Capitals Jersey
The first 2 seasons of the big defenseman’s 13-year NHL stint was spent in D.C., during which time he wore this classic Capitals jersey, quite possibly in his rookie season of ‘77-78. White jersey with blue and red piping has the team name with a hockey stick for the “L” across the front with 6 stars. “24” on verso and both sleeves in blue on red tackle twill. “Wilson [size] 44” tag in collar. All original but for nameplate that was removed from the back. Nice use with plenty of stick marks on the outside, pilling on the inside and perspiration/soiling most noticeable around the neck area. A capital jersey in every way.
