Circa 1979 Nick Fotiu Hartford Whalers NHL Game Worn Jersey
After his stint with the New York Rangers that made him one of the most popular enforcers in the NHL, Nick Fotiu played on the Hartford Whalers during the 1979-80 and 1980-81 seasons. With the WHA merger, 1979 was the Whale‚s first year in the NHL and the local product was an immediate fan favorite. Heavy use shown on this home white sweater with tons of wear to numbers and nameplate, both numbers on left sleeve have parts with no threading, slash marks and minor holes on sleeves. Minor staining on front, could possibly be blood, with two fight straps inside tail, Stall & Dean tag, wash tag and size 52 tag in neck.
