Circa 1983 Wayne Gretzky Signed Game Worn Edmonton Oilers Gloves (PSA)
These very gloves protected arguably the best hands in hockey history. Circa 1983, these Wayne Gretzky signed game worn Edmonton Oilers gloves are both autographed, "Wayne Gretzky 99." Autographs are certified by PSA/DNA and were obtained in person by our consignor. Jofa gloves are traditional Edmonton blue-and-orange, with "686" stamped on each in white. Both have "99" numbers with clear tape over them, common practice for Gretzky. They display absolutely outstanding heavy use on each with slash marks and rips, along with tape on two fingers of the left glove. They were obtained at a charity event auction for The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis; athletes and professional franchises donate game used items to this charity.
