Circa 1984 Bryan Trottier Team USA Game Worn Jersey

Circa 1984 Bryan Trottier Team USA Game Worn Jersey

Feeling an obligation to repay his adopted homeland, Canadian Bryan Trottier made the controversial decision to represent Team USA in the 1984 Canada Cup after having played for Team Canada in 1981. This all-original, game-worn jersey from that period is most likely from pre-Canada Cup tournament games in 1984, as the font of the number "1" on the USA jerseys worn during the Cup itself is slightly different. The "USA" crest can be found front and center on the lightly-used jersey, while the number "19" appears on both sleeves and the back, where "TROTTIER" also appears sewn on a nameplate. The size, 50, is written in pen on a CCM tag in the collar.
