Circa 1985 Bryan Trottier Game Worn Islanders Jersey
One of the winningest players in hockey history, Bryan Trottier is a name beloved on the Island and beyond. As a member of the New York Islanders, Trottier was the centerpiece of a team that won four consecutive Stanley Cups beginning in 1980. He also later won two Stanley Cups with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the early 1990s. This game worn Trottier Islanders jersey is from circa 1985 while the star center was still in his prime. It has an assistant "A" captain patch on the left breast and no tags in the neck. Paint transfers, burn marks, abrasions, slash marks, few holes and loose stitching can be found, while there are Syosset Sports and CCM logos on the back tail. The jersey has a fight strap and shows tremendous use, which is consistent with Trottier's rugged play style. Trottier ended his career first in Islanders history in games played, assists, and points, and ranks second in goals. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1997 and in 2017 was named one of the NHL's 100 Greatest Players.
