Circa 1987 Brent Sutter Game Worn Islanders Jersey
This white, home New York Islanders jersey was game worn in 1987 by Brent Sutter, one of an amazing six Sutter brothers to play in the NHL. Named team captain in '87, his "C" is on the left breast, Maska tag is in the neck with CCM and Syosset Sports logos embroidered on back tail. Shows tremendous use, hammered with slash marks, paint transfers, abrasions, loose stitching and at least five team repairs. "Sutter" is sewn in blue letters above his "21" in orange and blue on the back, numbers also on the sleeves. Though the fight strap is intact, it was needed less for Brent than most of his pugilisticly-inclined brothers.
