Clemente Early Pirates Publicity Photo & Negative
Outstanding Clemente 8 x 10 is one of the earliest of him in a Pirates uniform and comes with the original negative of the shot used by the Bucs' publicity department. Some heavy history here as Clemente was heisted from the Dodgers' farm chain for a mere $4,000 in 1954 by ex-Brooklyn kingpin Branch Rickey and brought him up the next year to be their 1st black player.
