Coca-Cola Button Sign

Coca-Cola Button Sign

Before Coke was the "real thing" and teaching the world to sing in perfect harmony, the company had simpler designs: using the brand name to produce a Pavlovian reflex of immense and immediate thirst in human beings. This huge red metal advertising sign for the beverage from the 1950s was its weapon of choice. Measures approximately 49" in diameter and shaped like a button or, more likely, an old fashioned bottle cap. Red and white with yellow trim and features the classic Coca-Cola logo and reads, "Drink Coca-Cola." The sign is sturdy enough to have been hung from a building or billboard. A few small areas of chipped paint, otherwise EX-MT. Thirsty yet?
