Collection of 2001-02 NHL Goal Pucks inc. Sakic & Yzerman (8)
On October 11, 2001, Avs superstar Joe Sakic potted one against the Oil in Edmonton with helpers from Hejduk and Blake. Detroit traveled to Edmonton on December 13th where Steve Yzerman converted a pass from Chris Chelios to light the lamp at 14:36 of the 3rd in a 2-1 win over the home team. Both goal pucks were plucked from the net, wrapped in white tape and marked with the goal stats including date, teams, time, period, final score along with the names of the goal scorer and assists. In addition, this lot includes six more similarly notated official Oilers Inglasco gamers from goals scored by Oilers regulars Ryan Smyth, Todd Marchant, Mike Comrie, Anson Carter, Jochen Hecth, and Mike Grier. An amazing group!
