There are a total of 69 full game tickets to a variety of sporting events which range from the Preakness Horse race to Stanley Cup play-off tickets to World Series tickets. There are 4 sheets of tickets from the 1973 National League Championship Series for games 3,4 and 5 at Shea stadium; the Mets would go on to win the series and there are even 2 ticket stubs from the 1973 World series, Games 4 & 5 included in the lot. There are 2 full sheets of tickets to the 1982-1983 NHL play-offs with the NY Islanders, there are also 3 sheets of 1979 NY Rangers Stanley Cup Play-Off tickets. Some of the real stand out tickets are a Game 6 1956 World Series ticket between the Yankees and the Brooklyn Dodgers which was never played after the outstanding game 5 which clinched the pennant for the Yankees. There is also a ticket from Game 3 of the 1955 World Series, but this time the Dodgers clinched the World Championship title. The last of the World Series tickets, Games 6 &7 at the New York Polo Grounds come from a year earlier in 1954 when Cleveland battled the New York Giants only to make it to Game 4. The entire collection is in EX 75% / NRMT 25% with minimal wrinkling and age wear. The color and glossy sheen on many of the tickets is outstanding. This is a spectacular collection of full sporting tickets.
