Collection of Kelloggs & Rold Gold Pretzel Sets (16) 1970-1982, With PSA Graded Hall of Famers
These hologram and 3-D style cards have a cult-like following. Collectors of these issues are very particular and are always looking to upgrade their collection. All of these cards are from a recent find and have not seen the light of day in at least 20 plus years. Almost the entire collection is at least EX-MT or better with a very large percentage at least NM. One will definitely find a treasure-trove of NM-MT cards in this large collection. Included are the following sets. 1970 Kellogg's complete set of 75 cards # 7 Tom Seaver PSA 9 MINT, # 12 Willie Mays PSA 8 NM-MT, and # 27 Roberto Clemente PSA 8 NM-MT and 2 Pete Rose EX-MT. 1971 Kellogg's complete set of 75, including # 5 Roberto Clemente PSA 8 NM-MT, # 65 Pete Rose PSA 9 MINT and Mays EX-MT. The 1971 Kellogg's set is the most expensive and desirable of all the Kellogg’s issues. Overall this is a high grade set with nearly all cards NRMT or better. Next up is the 1972 Kellogg's complete set of 54 with # 6 Pete Rose and # 49 Roberto Clemente both PSA 9 MINT. Followed by the 1973 Kellogg’s set which is the only one not to have the 3-D images. It is highlighted by # 16 Nolan Ryan graded PSA 7 NM and Rose NRMT. The remainder of the collection includes the following sets, Kellogg's sets1974 (some cards in this set are in lesser condition, there is cracking to the front image,) 1975, 1978, 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, and the 1991 Kellogg's/Sportflics All Time Greats set. Lastly, included is the 1970 Rold Gold Pretzels Baseball Greats set. Highlights are # 15 Ty Cobb PSA 9 MINT, and # 6 and 14 Babe Ruth both PSA 8 NM-MT. Overall this is an outstanding collection of 1970's 3-D sets with tremendous break value.
