Collection of Limited Edition Cooperstown Bats (5)
For auction here is a collection of five Limited Edition commemorative Cooperstown Bats by Louisville Slugger. There are two bats commemorating the Hall of Fame Class of 1983, where Walter Alston, George Kell, Juan Marichal and Brooks Robinson were inducted; these are numbered 357 and 490 of 500. There are also two bats from 1989 commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Hall of Fame; these are numbered 140 and 142 of 250. Finally, there is a bat from the series of bats commemorating Mike Schmidt's 548 career home runs. This particular bat comes with a certificate noting that it is number 75 of 548, and commemorates Schmidt's 75th career home run on 8/1/75 in Montreal against the Expos.
