Collection of Story Baseballs (4)
It's Story Time with a diamond twist as these four baseballs are signed and inscribed by former major leaguers. They include: Johnny Sain stating: "FIRST PITCH JACKIE ROBINSON BROOKLYN OPENER 1947" and "LAST PITCH TO BABE RUTH WAR RELIEF GAME IN YANKEE STADIUM 1945 HIS LAST FORMAL GAME." Ewell Blackwell wrote: "NO-HITTER 6-18-47 REDS-6 BRAVES-0." Frank Crosetti wrote: "THE BABE DID NOT POINT TO CENTER FIELD. HE PUT ONE FINGER UP MEANING HE HAD ONE MORE STRIKE LEFT." And then there's one with three co-signers, including Don Larsen: "I PITCHED THE PERFECT GAME," Yogi Berra: "I CAUGHT THE PERFECT GAME" and A.L. umpire Ed Runge: "I CALLED IT." Each is signed on either an official National or American League baseball and their overall condition is NM. Comes with a Lelands.com LOA.
