Comiskey Park Seat Number 2 Presented to the Nellie Fox Family
Have a seat! That's what the Chicago White Sox said to the family of durable Hall of Fame second baseman Nellie Fox as the ballclub for whom he played the majority of his career paid tribute to his legacy. The 35-inch-tall green seat was sent by the White Sox to Fox's family. It is signed by Mrs. Nellie Fox on the back of the chair, which shows typical stadium wear but is all-original except for one bolt. There is some minor rotting of the wood but is still sturdy. There are several layers of different color paints from all the years at the famed Comiskey Park.
