Cookie Lavagetto Game Used Bat
Cookie Lavagetto, whose pinch-hit double ruined Bill Bevens' no-hitter in Game 4 of the 1947 World Series and gave his Brooklyn Dodgers a breathtaking victory over the New York Yankees, used this bat in a less famous game sometime in the late 1930s or early '40s. The 35", 35 oz Hillerich and Bradsby shows heavy use, and despite some grain separation on the back of the barrel, is uncracked.
