Cornbread Maxwells's Game Worn Boston Celtics Warm-Up

Cornbread Maxwells's Game Worn Boston Celtics Warm-Up

Cornbread Maxwell is one of 22 Boston Celtics whose number, 31, is retired. Now his game-worn warmup from the glory years can be a player in your collection. It is classic Celtics, a green doubleknit with the white shamrock embroidered on the sleeve and CELTICS commanding the front. Elastic collar, arm holes and waist. His silk nameplate (green) is velcro-fastened onto the back. A white name plate was suppose to appear on the reverse of the green warm up but somehow it was switched. He signed his name "Cedric #31 Maxwell" in black marker underneath. Maxwell spent eight seasons with Boston, averaging 13.7 points and winning world championships in 1981 and 1984. The lettering is slightly discolored and the green on the buttons has worn off. But the garment is in overall fantastic shape.
