Cricket Bat Signed by Winston Churchill, Dwight Eisenhower & Others

Cricket Bat Signed by Winston Churchill, Dwight Eisenhower & Others

World War II allies Dwight Eisenhower and Winston Churchill are among the dignitaries who signed this special cricket bat just before the end of the war. For years, it was kept inside a grandfather's clock owned by Bill Tidswell of Sussex, England until he sold it at auction. Other signatures include General Smuts of South Africa and then-British Air Minister Sir Archibald. Comes with vintage articles detailing its history, as well as a list of the names on the STUART SURRIDGE PERFECT model bat, which is roughly 33" long and bears the branding "EXTRA SPECIAL" on the back.
