Cy Young, Jimmie Foxx, & Hall of Famers Multi-Signed Kid Nichols Day Card (PSA)
Card dated August 16, 1949, measures 3.5x4.25" in celebration of "Kid Nichols Day," and includes 10 Hall of Fame signatures. The card highlights Charles "Kid" Nichols, who has signed in blue ink above his photo. The back has an amazing assortment of HoF autos, including: Cy Young, Connie Mack, Chas Gehringer, Rogers Hornsby, Carl Hubbell, Jimmie Foxx, Tris Speaker, Paul Waner, and Mickey Cochrane. Signatures are generally quite strong, (Hubbell is somewhat smudged), and there is light age discoloration to the card, as to be expected. Nichols was a pitcher for the Boston Beaneaters of the 1890s, and this card was in honor of a day sponsored by the Co-Operative Club of Kansas City. Card is PSA/DNA encapsulated as Authentic Auto, and the nine autographs on back have an outstanding look.
