Dale Earnhardt Signed Death Program

Dale Earnhardt Signed Death Program

On February 18, 2001 the racing world lost its biggest superstar when Dale Earnhardt was killed when his Goodwrench Chevy crashed head-on with the outside wall in the final turn of the last lap of the 2001 Daytona 500. Eerily, perhaps, but also providentially, the 7-time Winston Cup champ's signature leaps from the program accompanying the race, having signed it apparently bare minutes before the flag went up. 10 other elite drivers also inked the program -- son Dale Earnhart Jr., Jeff Burton, Dale Jarrett, Tony Stewart, Mark Martin, Jeff Gordon, Bill Elliott, Sterling Martin, Jimmie Johnson and Mike Waltrip -- the last the winner of the jinxed race. Earnhardt's signature in blue sharpie is partly over his picture inside the book and rates a vibrant 10/10. The program, a valuable memento itself, is NRMT. Comes with COA.
