Dan Bankhead's Game Used Glove
After a strong career in the Negro leagues, Dan Bankhead made his MLB debut on August 26, 1947 for the Brooklyn Dodgers, just months after Jackie Robinson's historic debut in April. Bankhead will forever be remembered as the first black pitcher in MLB. This unmarked but worn brown leather glove used by Bankhead is still in VG condition. There is no manufacturer evident on its soft and supple leather. Comes directly from Bankhead's family.
