The most celebrated and exigent individual accomplishments in all of baseball is the elusive “no-hitter”. Even more rare though is the opportunity to own a piece of game used equipment from one of those historic performances. Offered is an Official American League (Brown) baseball used during play on September 2, 1990, by five-time All-Star, Dave Stieb, as he tossed the only “no-hitter” of his career, and the first in Blue Jays franchise history. On the side panel he has signed and inscribed in black felt tip, “Dave Stieb-No Hitter-9/2/90-Toronto 3 Cleve. 0.” The mark grades a “9” out of possible “10” and the ball shows significant game use.
