Dave Taylor 1982 NHL All Star Game Worn Jersey
Visually stimulating orange and black uniform worn by Kings superstar Dave Taylor during the 1982 NHL Classic held in Washington. The sweater features a large embroi-dered NHL shield on the chest with smaller shields on each sleeve. The v-cut design blanketed by a galaxy of individually applied tackle twill stars identifies this one-year uniform style, highly sought after by game worn collec-tors. "Taylor" arches across the back in letters sewn directly onto the shirt. Heavy mesh jersey tagged in the collar by Gerry Cosby flanked by the blue-on-white size "56" tag and the sewn-in washing instructions. Light wear on this heavy jersey, as is to be expected. Given as a gift from Taylor to friend and longtime Kings employee Harris Peet, as detailed in the Letter of Authenticity.
