David Bowie "Elephant Man" Posters (2)
Bowie's short-lived acting career reached its zenith when he hit Broadway in 1980 as the star of "The Elephant Man". He portrayed the the disfigured John Merrick from September 23, 1980 to January 3, 1981 at the Booth Theater. These two rare posters feature a head shot of him next to the words "Now Starring David Bowie, Limited Engagement!" The famous pop art design of the show is in green and red. 14 x 22" and NRMT with light scratches and minor fraying along the bottom.
