Denis Savard Chicago Blackhawks Game Used Signed Stick (PSA)
Game used and signed stick from Chicago Blackhawks Hall of Famer Denis Savard. Canadien brand stick is right handed with only the slightest of curve, somewhat unusual for players by the 1980s and '90s in which Savard hit the ice. Name is printed on the shaft, original tape is on blade and knob, though each has started coming loose at the ends; number 9 is written on the shaft in black marker. Nice use is displayed throughout, signed near base of shaft with inscription "Best Wishes" in 9/10 black marker. Considered by many to be the most dynamic stickhandler of his era, Savard used his exceptional hands and quickness to torment opposing defenders. This stick is a great example of that, as the straight-ish blade was perfect for his "spin-o-rama" move (in which he spun to his backhand), as well as the narrowness of the blade, which lesser-skilled players would have struggled with. Terrific game used Hall of Fame twig. Comes with PSA Cert.
