Derek Jeter Signed and Inscribed Bat and Photo
This lot includes both a bat and a large photograph signed by New York Yankees captain Derek Jeter. The Louisville Slugger model P72 limited edition bat is numbered 10/102, signed by Jeter, and inscribed: "2000 AS WS MVP" in silver Sharpie. A hologram is affixed to the barrel. The 19 x 15" photograph, matted and framed to 26 x 22", shows Jeter diving into the stands with the entire background sepia-tinted and only Jeter himself in color. Jeter has signed the photo and inscribed it "#2 The Dive 7-1-04." As Derek Jeter no longer inscribes pieces, this is a tough find. Both are Steiner pieces and will make a terrific addition to any Yankees collection.
