A knit witness to Bobby Orr's famous "Flying Goal". Road black Boston Bruins jersey worn by defenseman Don Awrey in 1969-70 and into the 1970 playoffs and Finals against St. Louis. Heavy durene with the spoked “B” team logo on the front and “26” on the back and sleeves in yellow on white tackle twill. Vintage tie-neck style with original lace. Collar tagging by “Wilson” with a faded ink "50" in the blank size box. Nice game use with some fraying of the crest and numbers with seven bullet-style team repairs. Double garter fight strap in the tail. This historical uniform comes from the personal collection of Don Awrey and he maintains it is the shirt he wore in the last game of the 1970 Stanley Cup Finals.
