Don Larsen Perfect Game Baseball (Ex-Charlie Sheen Collection)

Don Larsen Perfect Game Baseball (Ex-Charlie Sheen Collection)

One of the most iconic pieces of sports memorabilia in the hobby, this ball has airtight provenance and a storied history. Actually, it is one of two baseballs given to a top baseball executive who worked in the Commissioners office. The gentleman requested two baseballs used in this important game and received them from the game's umpires immediately following the game on October 8, 1956. The twin to this ball was donated to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. This ball is 100% authentic and of the period. It was used in Don Larsen's World Series Perfect Game and shows good game use from that historic, one-of-a-kind day. It sports a vintage Larsen autograph sealed beneath a decades-old coating of shellac.
