Don Larsen Perfect game X-Mas Card
Don Larsen's perfect game in 1956 was such a great feat, that it's impact streched across the boreder to Canada as evidenced by this 1956 X-Mas card. Card was produced by Hallmark. Card measures 7.25" x 6" and has picture perfect painting of outdoor revelers on a frozen lake in a picturesque Canadian town. Inside are the box scores and rosters for both Brooklyn and The Yankees from Don Larsen's Oct. 8,1956 World Series Perfect Game. The quote "Que 1957 soit votre annee "Parfaite"!....." appears in French centered across the two inside pages and is signed "Jerry Crudel". In English the quote means " Let 1957 be your perfect year!" Card is in MT condition with slight age stain on back.
