In the early par of the 20th century The Sporting News was regarded as the "Base Ball Paper of the World". This is a framed ad luring people to "Read This Week's Issue". "What Has Become of Hal Chase" is the headline. The copy further declares "Game’s Greatest First Sacker Rues Mistakes in Relating History". The ad also goes on to offer a "Free Trip to World's Series and Cash Prizes to Voters". It measures 14 1/2" x 11 3/4" framed and is in EX-MT condition.
