Early 1960s Roger Maris Single-Signed Baseball (PSA NM-MT 8)
The man who shattered Babe Ruth's single-season home run record single-signed this gorgeous, Official American League (Cronin) baseball, offering a beautiful period signature right on the sweet spot from the early 1960s. The ball is NM-MT with bold label and comes in the original Reach box. A Major League umpire in the early 1960s took this ball fresh out of the box, successfully recruited Maris to sign it, then put it in a safety deposit box for 30 years. One of the nicest Maris single-signed balls from the '60s, from the Yankee who blasted 61 in '61. Auto grades 7/10, ball 8/10 and +.5 for eye appeal. Overall PSA NM-MT 8 and comes with PSA LOA as well as SGC LOA.
