Early 1970's Gordon Johncock Race Worn Suit
Grease-stained fireproof suit tore up the turns on the back of the Indy 500 winner. Blue chain stitching over breast pocket identifies suit as Johncock's, as do the numerous sponsorship patches from Valvoline, Goodyear, STP and more. Evidence of removed patches on chest and back are likely the result of a fractured sponsorship deal. Strong wear evident. From the Paul Hill Collection.
