Star-studded folded handbill is most significant with an early B.B. King listing with photo (1961). Announced “coming soon B.B. King Band and Revue, plus Little Willie John and the Upsetters. As advertised, the Apollo boasted the “World’s greatest colored shows.” Also listed are the Shirrells, Count Basie, Aretha Franklin, and the Marvelettes. Inside of the folded bill advertises 12 feature films presented by the Apollo for three days including <i>Al Capone, Psycho, Village of the Damned</i>, & more. When open, handbill measures 11x17”.
