Early Dewolf Hopper "Casey at the Bat" Theatrical Poster
Vintage theater poster featuring DeWolf Hopper, the man who made famous the baseball poem, Casey at the Bat with his popular performances. This 24 x 34" lithograph advertises a performance at the Court Sq. theater in Springfield, Mass. The poster shows minor toning overall-the edges have some wear and tear, small pieces of the lower corners are missing and there are tack holes from display. Despite this, it is an amazing quality vintage poster with a riveting image of Hopper.
