The Holiday Inn of prisons! A solid lineup of Attica photographs taken in 1931during construction of the prison that would gain notoriety for its' infamous residents and the 1971 riot. A caption of the reverse of one of the prints claims that it will be "more like a comfortable hotel to the inmates." Photos include an exterior shot, the large dining hall, rows of cells and a shot of an individual cell (you'll notice there are no mints on the pillows). Overall 8.5"x11" and EX+.
