Early Jimmie Foxx Single Signed Baseball

Early Jimmie Foxx Single Signed Baseball

Simply noting that Jimmie Foxx is a baseball Hall of Famer vastly understates his place in the sport's history. The man known as "The Beast" was a nine-time All-star, three-time Most Valuable Player, and won a pair or World Series as well as taking home the elusive Triple Crown in his two decades in the majors. This Goldsmith Official League baseball is cream-colored with just a few minor spots and abrasions. It looks as though a clear coat of shellack was applied at one time. The signature on the sweet spot is in 7.5/10 black fountain ink, is very strong in most places and can be seen from across a room. This ball was signed sometime in the late 1920s/early 1930s. Comes with a JSA Letter of Authenticity.
