Early Ty Cobb Handwritten Letter (1916)
Three page handwritten letter on Ty Cobb's personal stationary dated Jan 27, 1916, written to a friend and hunting buddy. Cobb mentions how it was nice to have recently seen him and about some property and house that he wants to rent for future hunting trips. Cobb also mentions a conversation with a local "negro." Signed "Ty Cobb" in mint fountain pen. Additionally at the end of the letter Cobb has added a postscript and signed it "TRC." All writing is bold and easily legible. Fine condition. Tough to find Cobb letters this early.
