Ebbets Field Folding Seat

Ebbets Field Folding Seat

There used to be a ballpark here...No ballpark is more revered, or more missed, than Ebbets Field, home of the old Brooklyn Dodgers from 1913 until 1957. Presented is a vintage folding chair from Brooklyn's beloved bandbox measuring approximately 37 1/2" high. It's made of metal painted Dodger blue with a wooden seat that measures approximately 14" in diameter. The wood appears to be an older restoration. The words, "Ebbets Field, 1913-1957" are stenciled on the top of the seatback in silver paint. The chair shows great use and recalls lazy carefree summer days in a Brooklyn that doesn't exist anymore. EX+
