Eddie Shore 1961-62 Calder Cup Champion Springfield Indians Game Used Blazer
This was the choice uniform worn by Eddie when coaching the team based on photographs and team photos. Obtained in the year 2000 in an auction of Eddie Shore's estate. Comes with signed LOA on Stanton Auctions letterhead signed by Edward Shore, Jr. The family chose this local New England auction to offer this legendary sale which was a badly kept secret (we were there!). This bold navy blue cashmere blazer is of exceptional quality, tagged inside in silk by "Burlington Club Haynes Springfield." Silver buttons add to this purely New England preppy look, beautifully topped off by the "SHC Indians" embroidered patch on the chest. In nice condition and definitely arena-worn.
