After Elton's first album sold only 40,000 copies, "Elton John" made him a superstar, and a very rich young man. The 1970 LP includes the instant classics "Your Song" and "Border Song". It went gold on the Uni Records label in the States, winning this precious gold record for Elton's Consolidated Records Distributors. The disk is mounted against a black background in a black frame and is a Mint confection for Elton freaks.
