A hard-hitting collection, this is an archive of 180+ photos of the Boston Bruins dating mostly from the 1940's. Believed to be originally from the collection of Art Ross, NHL Hall of Famer as both a player and executive and for whom the trophy honoring each year's league scoring leader is named. Subjects of the predominantly 8x10" black and white images include: Yank Boyd, Scherza/Gallagher/Guidolin, Mel Hill, Marquess/McGill/Barry, Henderson/Egan, Pete Babando, Norm Calladine, Oscar Aubuschon, Jack Church, Ken Smith, Frank Patrick, and many, many more. Most are posed publicity photos, many are identified on reverse, and there is some duplication. Average VG-EX condition.
