Marvelous ground-up press shot of the great Giant first sacker, and the last NLer to hit over .400, gripping the bat tightly as a cavernous, empty Polo Grounds looms behind him. Terry seems bemused by this bit of personal promotion, and no doubt said something to that effect since he was one blunt and brash SOB, as knotty as the wood in his magnificent bat.
