First California 500 Racing Standee
Part of the hugely successful advertising campaign for the inaugural California 500 in 1970, this heavy cardboard poster advertises the event which sold out over six weeks in advance! Measuring 10.5" x 20" with a cardboard standee in the back, the bright color is very inviting. On top it reads, "In color! Live-on giant screen direct from the track! Sunday Sept. 6" and "The California 500". It also reads "Blazing racing competition from California's Ontario Motor Speedway" and "Tickets Now on Sale at Carson Attractions Ticket Office Tulsa Assembly Centre."
