First Major League Baseball Game of the Millennium Full Ticket PSA MINT 9
Rare full ticket from the "first MLB game of the Millennium," on March 27, 2000. In fact, the game was between the Chicago Cubs and the Yomiuri Giants of the Nippon Professional Baseball league, Japan's most senior circuit. The inter-league exhibition game served as a lead-in to MLB's actual Opening Day in Japan two days later, as the Cubs topped the New York Mets in front of 55,000 fans at the Dome. Ticket measures 7.25x3.25" and is written primarily in Japanese characters, though the first line reads "MLB OPENING SERIES 2000." Encapsulated by PSA as a Full ticket, grading an outstanding MINT 9 with no apparent flaws or blemishes.
