Foreign Programs Representing Outstanding Racehorses from the World's Greatest Races and Racetracks (7)

All programs are from overseas representing several world champions. 1) The famous English Derby at Epsom Downs in 1885 was won by favored Melton, Lord Hastings' horse and ridden by Fred Archer who many consider the best European jockey of all time. 2) the 1965 Prix de L’ Arc de Triomphe at Longchamps, France won by Sea Bird. The horse also won Europe’s other most prestigious race, the English Derby. His Timeform rating of 145 remains the second highest behind Frankel’s 147. In this race, Tom Rolfe, with Willie Shoemaker aboard, finished sixth. 3-4) The 1996 and 1998 Dubai World Cup Programs won by Cigar and Silver Charm, respectively. Lastly, three programs from the superstar, Frankel. 5) 2011 St. James Palace. 6) 2011 British Champions Day. 7) Queen Anne Stakes, all at Ascot. All programs are in fabulous condition unmarked condition, except for small pencil notations showing the 1st six finishers in the Arc. The 1885 program is likely unique. Copies of New York Times' original articles included for programs 1-4.
