Fred Stanfield's 1970-71 Boston Bruins Prince of Wales Trophy (13" tall)
This lustrous Prince of Wales trophy was awarded to Fred Stanfield, after the Boston Bruins came out on top following the 1970-71 regular season. They would, of course go on to win the first of two consecutive Stanley Cups. Silver plate bowl, supported by four sticks rising from the wood base sports attached plaque, engraved, “H.R.H. Prince of Wales Trophy, Fred stanfield.” This example is certainly vintage and has aged only slightly in appearance with a wonderful patina. The item comes with LOA signed by Fred Stanfield.
