French Turn of the Century Erotic Postcard Book
Magnificent 14.5x12x2.25" album is filled with nearly 200 early 1900's real photo French erotic postcards. Most are in full color; some in stark b/w. The amazing thing is that most are in complete sets (mostly four & eighth to a set). Extremely rare individually; to see them in sets in virtually unheard of. All are nudes and include such tantalizing subjects as boudoir scenes, a huntress, interracial, lovely girl on a swing, and some incredible voyeurs. The postcards are in the album using four corner mounts and can be taken in and out with ease. The pressure of the album has protected them impeccably, the vast majority are unposted, and they are o/w overall a stunning EX-MT. The artisan that created this album had impeccable taste and a flair for design. The postcards are interspersed with separate pages of tipped-in e prints from a period erotic magazine Le Nu Esthetique (The Nude Aesthetic). There are about 200 of these prints of various sizes and they turn this book into something truly special, in fact, the finest erotic piece we have offered. The breakdown value of the postcards alone is $50 to $100 each, making the total value of the album $10,000-20,000.
