Gary Carter Signed Oil Painting by Robert Stephen Simon
Years before he won his only World Series with the Mets, Hall of Fame catcher Gary Carter was a rising star with the Montreal Expos, and "Kid" flashes his familiar grin while receiving a pitch in this original oil painting on canvas that measures 17x24" and 24x30" in its frame. It is signed by Carter with the inscription: "Best Wishes, God Bless, Catch You Later" in black ink. It is also signed by the artist: "Robert Stephen Simon" on the bottom left. There is a gold plaque on the bottom of the frame with the engraving: "Gary Carter by Robert Stephen Simon."
