George Brett’s Last Hit Signed Baseball
On October 3, 1993, after twenty seasons in Kansas City George Brett stepped to the plate for the one last time as all of Arlington Stadium rose from their seats in respect. Behind 1-2 in the count Brett, noticeably moved by two decades of memories and the enormous emotional outpouring, gathered himself as Texas pitcher Tom Henke delivered the pitch. The crack of the bat released a roar from the crowd as the ball found its way up the middle for his 3,154th and final hit. Presented is that OAL (Brown) baseball, inscribed in blue ink (8/10), “John, My Best, George Brett 10/3/93, 3,154”. It shows light and even use with some fading to the blue stampings. A most significant piece of this Hall of Famers illustrious career.
