George Sisler St. Louis Cardinals All Time All-Star Money Clip
When the Cardinals announced an all time All-Star team of St. Louis it came as no surprise to anyone that George Sisler's name was on it. Let's face it, when Ty Cobb calls you "the nearest thing to a perfect ballplayer" it's pretty clear you're good. Hand crafted solid sterling silver money clip by Hayward was presented to Sisler at old Busch Stadium (Sportsmans Park) on August 19th, 1958. Clip reads across the top "St. Louis All Time All Star Team." Below it is a baseball followed by "George Silver" (underlined). Below that is the rest of the team: Alexander, Dean, Frisch, Haines, Hornsby, Marion, Moore, Musial, O'Farrell, Schoendienst, Severeid, Shocker, Tobin and Williams. At the very bottom, "Busch Stadium 8-19-58." EX condition.
